Hannah Smith is a financial journalist and copywriter with 18 years’ experience writing about money for professional and consumer audiences.

She covers all aspects of personal finance, with a particular specialism in asset management and financial advice, sustainable investing and financial planning for women. She has written and produced for national outlets including the Times, the Telegraph, BBC Business, the Independent, Metro, MoneyWeek, Investment Week and many more.

Hannah was named Freelance Journalist of the Year in the Headlinemoney Awards 2024. She holds Unit 1 of the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is currently working towards Unit 2.
