Welcome offers on UK business cards are marketed like a free gift and awarded like a hurdle race. Hit the spend inside the qualifying window, in the way the issuer defines it, and you get the bonus. Miss by a day, or miss by a purchase type, and the issuer keeps the lot.
These deals move. They get pulled, refreshed, or quietly reframed, sometimes mid-week. The marketing copy on an issuer’s front page is not always in step with the offer terms inside the application, which is where the deal actually lives.
Read the live application, not the landing page. Screenshot the offer at application time in case it disappears before the bonus lands. And if a headline bonus sounds too generous for the spend required, the sting is usually in the qualifying rules.
Every offer here was checked against the issuer’s live application flow or product page on the date shown, and that date is logged on the row.

Notes and definitions
- Each offer is checked against the issuer’s live application flow or product page on the date shown. An older verification date should not be treated as current.
- Spend thresholds and qualifying windows are set by the issuer. Missing the window by a day usually costs you the bonus entirely; issuers are not in the habit of being generous about timing.
- Bonus points and miles do not carry a fixed cash value. We don’t estimate what the reward is “worth”, because the answer depends on how you redeem, not what the issuer’s marketing implies.
- “None” means the issuer’s published materials stated no current introductory offer when we checked. Silence from marketing is not a guarantee: a rep may still mention an unpublished deal when you call.
