Representative APR is what the card costs to borrow if you carry a balance. Or more precisely, what it costs at least 51% of approved applicants. Your rate can sit above or below.
Issuers do not calculate the figure the same way from one card to the next. A handful publish only a floor rate (“rates from”), and those are flagged. Do not read a floor rate against a representative APR: the first is a best case, the second is the likely case, and confusing the two is how businesses end up with a rate they weren’t expecting.
On charge cards with a Flexible Payment Option, the APR only bites if you actively opt to carry a balance. Otherwise the card still expects full monthly settlement.
Every figure here was traced to the issuer’s own pre-contract credit information, terms and application disclosures, with the source linked on every row.
Scope: UK incorporated businesses only (limited companies and LLPs). Sole trader and consumer cards are excluded. How we research this data.

Notes and definitions
- Representative APR is the rate given to at least 51% of accepted applicants. Your offer can sit above or below, and issuers do not calculate the figure the same way from one card to the next.
- Cards marked “rates from” publish only a floor rate. Do not compare it directly to a representative APR: a floor rate is a best case; a representative APR is a likely case.
- Cards marked “FPO” show the Flexible Payment Option rate, which only applies if you actively opt in to carry a balance. The underlying charge card still expects full monthly settlement.
- Cards marked “Rep.” show a regulatory APR calculated from flat transaction fees rather than compound interest. The real cost depends on how often and how long you actually borrow, not the headline figure.
- Pure charge cards with no FPO and no flat-fee APR are excluded from this dataset. They have no rate to publish.
